PARK PROJECTS: We at the Parks and Recreation Department are very excited about the many renovations and improvements to existing parks and the construction of our newest park that will begin this May.

The countless hours of planning, review and work with the community, user groups, advisory groups such as PRAB and the City Council will now become even more exciting as we break ground and begin to see the plans become reality. As these projects get underway and throughout the construction, information and photos of each project will be posted on the project pages.

All these projects are receiving generous funding from Fairfax Police Youth Club and Fairfax Little League. Please call 703.385.7858 if you have any questions or if you would like to be guided to one of the other 22 diverse park locations throughout the City.

ALTERNATE PARK LOCATIONS:
We encourage you to visit any of our 22 other parks for your recreational enjoyment during this renovation. The closest playground can be found at Ranger Road Park and the closest rectangular athletic field is at Van Dyck Park on Old Lee Highway.
