The plan is to convert fields 3 and 5 at Providence Elementary School into the first 375ft. outfield baseball field in any City park. This will allow players 14 and up to enjoy a recreational and competitive baseball play environment.  This field will be a natural turf field with state of the art “Light Structure Green” lighting making it the jewel in our inventory of baseball play areas.

Phase One of this project is the grading plan for the site.  This involves using soil material removed from Stafford Park and Draper Drive Park to grade out the base for the new 375ft outfield baseball field.

The design phase will begin in the Fall of 2008.  These fields will remain closed until the new field can be completed.

Fields 1, 2 and 4 will remain open while the new field is being constructed. Patrons that use Providence Elementary fields are asked to park in only the designated areas. Stay clear of construction vehicles and entrances.
